About our Weft Hair Extensions

Weft-in hair creates ultimate thickness, only our best professional cuticle correct remy hair is used and is applied via a non-damaging method of sewing onto aluminium screws that are threaded into the hair.

Spectrum One Weaves are triple sewn onto a super flat ribbon to ensure that they sit comfortably to your head. Our weaves can be transformed into an invisible weave easily, which is fast becoming a top UK application trend and can be cut up and sewn back together to fit the client’s head perfectly.

Weaves need to be tightened every 6 and rotated every 12 weeks and last 9 months plus with the correct aftercare. Perfect for normal to thick hair, Spectrum One Weaves are the ultimate glam statement in hair.

We offer this option so that you can easily mix shades to create beautiful bespoke colours or if your client doesn’t want the full weave, they can order a little less!

How to apply weft extensions?

Firstly, a loop thread and clamp are used to apply aluminum screws to the head which are evenly distributed accordingly. The weave is then sewed onto the beads and tied at the ends. Our weft application method is taught in depth on our education courses and weaves should only be applied by trained professionals. IMPORTANT REMINDER: To ensure the longevity and quality of your extensions, please remember to securely sew the corners of the machine wefts after cutting them. This helps prevent shedding and keeps your wefts in the best possible condition. We recommend this step as a standard part of your application process. How to remove weft extensions?

We recommend a tighten every 6 weeks. Old screws are removed and the section is split. More hair is added to the section and a fresh screw is reapplied close to the scalp. The process is repeated for each section of the weft. After a further 6 weeks a full removal and reapplication of the weft should be carried out using the same original application method.

How long do weft hair extensions last?

Our Spectrum One weaves can last up to nine months if not longer with the correct aftercare. We've had many clients have their Spectrum Weaves last up to two years or longer! We advise getting your weave tightened every 6 weeks and refitted every 12 weeks to keep your Spectrum hair looking its best.
